MSK Physiotherapist - HMP Hollesley Bay & HMP Warren Hill

About The Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join our Health in Justice (HiJ) Musculoskeletal (MSK) team, on a part time basis, at HMP HMP Hollesley Bay & HMP Warren Hill both based in Woodbridge, Suffolk. This role is part time working 20 hours a month with no on-call or weekend work to allow for a strong work life balance! Salary is between £40,000 - £49,000 pro rota depending on experience. You will be supported by a Regional Team Lead and Clinical Lead, so if the prison environment is a new to you, support will be available to help you settle in. What you'll be doing As our physiotherapist, you will: Provide outstanding evidence-based care, listening and acting on patient feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to patients, focusing on both planned and unplanned care. Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries. Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient’s care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding. Inspire excellence in your colleagues by being pro-active in the management of MSK conditions and motivating the wider team to identify patients presenting with red flag symptoms. You will forge strong working relationships with the Practice Plus Group healthcare team and the wider prison service. Promote best practice, evidence-based care and continuous quality improvement embedding a culture of reflection and shared learning. Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care supporting your clinical and non-clinical colleagues to do a great job. Be responsible for your own caseload and waiting list and be able to work as an autonomous practitioner. You will be closely supported and mentored by our Clinical Lead, and this combined with our well-developed appraisal system, in-service training and funding for external clinical courses, you will be provided with an excellent supportive learning environment to continue your professional development. What we'll look for in you Experience in assessing and treating some complex and/or chronic presentations.
