Program Coordinator

Summary of the Position This position is responsible to provide support for the St. Louis program and program director. Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day to day operations of their program, particularly as it relates to contract compliance, service delivery, and the participants intake/referral process for services. The work has less to do with general office duties than with assisting in the operation or administration of a local program/unit. Position will also perform Advocate duties. Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors or Master’s Degree generally preferred; commensurate experience in community-based agency program is acceptable except for programs where the referring authority requires a specific degree. At a minimum, at least one year previous experience in managing personnel and budgets. Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written. Basic computer skills required; Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus. Experience in the provision of home and community-based services. Bilngual/Spanish Speaking is strongly preferred! Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage.
