Gastroenterology Physician

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Gastroenterology Physician to join WellSpan Digestive Health in our Float Pool. This ongoing position offers a dynamic environment with diverse patient cases, including inpatient, outpatient, and procedures.

Position Details:

Start Date: July 13, 2026
Shift: 24-hour call, with scheduled procedures and clinic hours
Schedule:
- July 13th 7:00 AM through July 18th 7:00 AM
- August 24th 7:00 AM through August 29th 7:00 AM
- August 31st 7:00 AM through September 7th 7:00 AM
- December 28th through January 4th 7:00 AM (Monday to Monday)
Hours per Day: 8 hours (Monday-Friday), with rounds on weekends and procedures as needed
Patient Population: Adults 18+
Procedures: About 4-5 scheduled procedures daily, potential for additional add-ons; days on procedure include approximately 8-9 cases per day when not on call
Patient Volume: Mixed outpatient clinic with office visits every 40 minutes and hospital rounding
Support Staff: PA on-site, available for rounds from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; 24/7 provider service line for support
EMR: EPIC
Hospital Bed Size: 132 beds

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
PA licensure in Pennsylvania
DEA license
Minimum 1-year experience
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days (temporary providers with clean files are considered)

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $480.39
