Opportunity Overview We have an immediate opening for an Medical Assistant to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Clear Lake, Texas. Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; weekend and holiday rotations This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day. In this role, the Medical Assistant will: Perform a high volume of phlebotomy Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels Assist physician or ultrasound technician with various procedure Assist with HSGs as needed Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance Assists with the clinical care of fertility patients Provides patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions Provides pre and post op education Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved Support and promote excellence in customer service Administrative tasks, prior authorizations, etc. What You’ll Bring We’re looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter. Qualifications and Skills Include: Strong phlebotomy skills Completion of a formal MA program Background in women's health preferred Strong patient orientation and be a team player Professionalism and strong customer service skills is a must More important than any single credential, however, is the right person.
