Registered Nurse - Internal Medicine
Location: Lincoln Square, NY (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract, Mon-Fri, 40 hours a week
Compensation: Pay Range: $36.75-52.50 Per HR
Description:
Provide primary care to patients, including assessment and treatment.
Develop care plans and perform medical care evaluation.
Participate in ongoing education and maintain licensure and certification.
Support patients with self-care management.
Coordinate outpatient work-up and treatment plans.
Monitor patients and assure complete documentation.
Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and plan work based on patient needs and team skills.
Support implementation of organizational programs and procedures.
Collect data and adjust processes to meet program requirements.
Teach and support patients with self-care management.
Follow up on abnormal lab results requiring patient action.
Handle medication refill requests as per procedure.
Provide direct care, including blood pressure checks and wound care.
Qualifications:
Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing.
Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
Minimum of one to two years' experience in Medical Practice/Primary Care, Med-Surg, ER, and/or Occupational Health.
