Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Outside Machinists for projects located in the Alameda, CA area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $34/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Installation, overhaul, removal, repair, rebuilding, installation, and alignment of shipboard machinery including propeller shafts, bearings, engines, generators, and anchor windlasses
Work on tugboats, ferries, Coast Guard cutters, cruise ships, pilot boats, barges, and other marine vessels
Support ship repair and overhaul operations in the yard
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
Pass a drug screen
Must have respirator fit certificate
