Job Description
Title
Addictions Medicine - Nurse

Schedule
- Shift length: 12-hour shifts
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday requirement: Must work 2 of 3 holiday bundles

Assignment Details
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements
- Licensure: Pending licenses accepted
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, MOAB (MOAB training provided during first week if needed)
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role; prior corrections experience required
- Clinical Skills: Detox/MAT, CIWA/withdrawal assessment, Suboxone/Methadone administration, IV starts, oxygen/airway management, phlebotomy

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients experiencing withdrawal.
- Monitor and administer detox and Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) medications.
- Conduct inductions for Suboxone and Methadone.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
- Participate in rounds to evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with facility protocols.

- Background check and drug screen required
- COVID-19 vaccine: Optional
- Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Requests for time off must be approved if over 7 days; no time off during the first 7 days or last day of the contract.
- Mandatory in-person MOAB training during orientation if lacking certification.
- Must be able to pass the facility background check.
