Working with experienced team members, the co-op helps plan and conduct usability studies, analyze findings, document results, and share recommendations with product teamsEssential FunctionsHelp plan and conduct user research and usability studies with representative users, patients, clinicians, or other intended users.Prepare usability study materials, including protocols, surveys, data collection forms, and reports.Analyze study data, identify usability issues, and present findings to cross-functional teams.Contribute to user interface requirements, usability risk analyses, and design recommendations.Collaborate with engineering, clinical research, regulatory, marketing, and other teams to support product development.Required/Preferred Education and ExperienceCurrently enrolled or have experience in biomedical engineering, psychology, human factors, or a related discipline.Coursework or project experience in human factors, psychology, biomedical engineering, or a related field requiredExperience collecting and analyzing data and communicating findings clearly requiredExperience collaborating on team projects and completing work independently requiredExperience planning or conducting user research or usability studies preferredExperience developing usability study protocols, surveys, or reports preferredFamiliarity with medical devices, user interface design, or usability risk analysis preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesGreat written and verbal communication skills requiredPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Standing - OccasionallyWalking - OccasionallySitting - ConstantlyTalking - OccasionallyHearing - OccasionallyRepetitive Motions - FrequentlyZOLL is a fast-growing company that operates in more than 140 countries around the world.
