About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Software Engineering and AI to drive the practical implementation of AI technologies and lead the modernization of its software organization. The successful candidate will be a hands-on engineering executive with a strong background in AI, capable of turning high-value AI opportunities into production capabilities that enhance products, workflows, and operational efficiency. This role demands a leader who can balance executive responsibilities with deep technical involvement, particularly in the areas of architecture, engineering decisions, and complex technical challenges. The VP will have a significant influence on the application of AI, the evolution of the technology environment, and the development of engineering capabilities to support future growth. Key responsibilities for the VP of Software Engineering and AI at the company include leading AI initiatives from technical evaluation to continuous improvement, modernizing the technology stack while ensuring the reliability of business-critical systems, and setting engineering priorities that encompass AI adoption, platform modernization, and security.
