Title : Design Engineer CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE
Location : Springfield, Missouri
Job Summary
- Develop and modify 3D CAD models for New Product Development (NPD) using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Create complex surface and solid models utilizing Generative Shape Design (GSD).
- Support product development activities from concept through production release.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design quality, manufacturability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and production drawings using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Apply GD&T standards and generate engineering documentation for manufacturing.
- Manage engineering changes including ECR, ECO, and ECN activities.
- Validate designs for fit, function, manufacturability, and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE and Generative Shape Design (GSD).
- Strong knowledge of surface modeling, assembly design, and GD&T.
- Experience supporting NPD projects and engineering change processes.
