Senior Software Engineer – Product Engineering Located in Austin, this full‑time position is part of Ashby’s product engineering team, focusing on delivering end‑to‑end features for a fast‑growing SaaS platform used by thousands of daily users. Responsibilities Own a large portion of one of the company’s products, driving design, implementation, and delivery. Write product specifications, conduct competitive research, create wireframes, and develop reusable components. Build and ship features that touch the entire stack, including front‑end, back‑end, and infrastructure. Design and implement feature examples such as automated interview scheduling, declarative filter architecture, and in‑app offer signing. Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to iterate on product concepts and maintain high‑quality releases. Qualifications Comfortable tackling any part of the tech stack – front‑end, back‑end, and infrastructure. Experience working on product‑oriented projects with ambiguity and the ability to solve high‑level problems. Strong balance between rapid delivery and solid engineering practices. Ambitious, open to feedback, and eager to grow technical and product skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of coordinating with stakeholders.
