Schaffer's Mill Host/Hostess Position

As a Host/Hostess at the Schaffer's Mill, you will be the first point of contact for our members and guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail will help create a friendly and inviting atmosphere that reflects the high standards of our country club.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and welcoming members and guests as they arrive.
• Managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests.
• Maintaining a clean and organized entrance and dining area.
• Providing menus and informing guests of specials and promotions.
• Answering phone calls and taking reservations with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assisting with seating and accommodating special requests from guests.
• Collaborating with the dining staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints promptly.
• Upholding the country club's standards of hospitality and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a host/hostess or customer service role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of dining etiquette and country club operations is a plus.

Pay: $16.90 per hour
