Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, which include taking initial patient histories and performing thorough physical examinations.
• Formulate, document, and communicate a personalized plan of care tailored to meet the unique health requirements of each patient.
• Perform daily patient rounds, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies to guide clinical decision-making.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with the attending physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Create detailed discharge summaries, including necessary prescriptions and referrals, ensuring continuity of care after discharge.
• Provide patients with clear and comprehensive post-discharge care instructions to facilitate their recovery.
• Embrace additional responsibilities as required by the position, contributing positively to the overall healthcare environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on women’s health, serving a diverse population with varying medical histories and healthcare needs. The Nurse Practitioner will encounter patients seeking preventative care, management of chronic conditions, and treatment for acute health concerns. Your expertise will directly impact the quality of life for your patients, emphasizing preventive care and health education.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program.
• National Board Certification in a relevant specialty area is required.
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas and a valid Registered Professional Nurse license in Texas.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and establish effective communication.
• Current BLS certification is a must.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required, candidates with specialized training or experience in women’s health, pediatrics, or primary care are preferred. Experience in a concierge medicine setting is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 to $220,000 annually, based on a variety of factors including experience, specialty, and the internal equity of the organization. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
