Job Overview Requisition Number: 28764. Employment Type: Part Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt. Anticipated Salary Range: $52,492.00 - $74,989.00. Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain. Level of Experience: Mid. The Assembler position is located in Elkridge, MD. It is a part‑time role expected to last approximately 3–6 months, with flexible, as‑needed scheduling. The role supports production needs during a critical project phase and may lead to additional opportunities. Responsibilities Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non‑repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools. Make continuity checks on work in process and completed items. Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications. Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Qualifications High School diploma and 6 years additional education or 6 years relevant experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Preferred: Active Secret Clearance (bonus points). Physical Requirements Ability to lift forty pounds, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. Work in high heat/cold environments, aboard ships, under industrial conditions, in confined spaces, at heights, and in extreme weather. Operate portable power tools. Work may involve climbing and working on ladders.
