Contract Retail Data Collector & Shelf Scanner

My client, a leading AI company, is currently looking to onboard a Retail Stock Shelf Associate in Houston. Hourly Rate – $19-$21 per hour + Per Diem Expenses (Mileage / Food Reimbursement) Key Skills Data Collection, Data Image Capture, Scanning, Retail Responsibilities The job is a physical role, standing and taking pictures and scans of products for 6-8 hours in store. Individuals need to be able to handle repetitive tasks and scanning demanding workloads. The data collectors generally have autonomy to take breaks whenever they want. Key strengths for the role: an interest in the data collection process, liking to take pictures; strong attention to detail to notice small issues; ability to use the scanner and proactively figure out more efficient ways to complete data collection in store. Being reliable and demonstrating availability to be at store locations and on time. Measures of performance and success are based on the number of scans entered in the dashboard and the quality of the scan (need to be clear and not blurry, etc.). Past experience working within either a retail or warehousing environment is preferred. Requirements & Logistics Individuals must have their own transportation, as there may be instances where they will be required to transfer between the client’s store front offices for data capture purposes. This is a 3‑6 month initial contract with extensions to follow, with an expectation of 30‑40 hours per week.
