Registered Nurse – Med Surg in Aberdeen, Washington, starts on 08/31/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a 3x12 night shift (1845–0715). Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care on the Med Surg unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; monitor responses and manage IVs and related lines
- Monitor patient status, identify changes, escalate to the care team as needed, and respond to emergencies per protocol
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team; participate in care coordination and discharge planning
- Document care and procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech knowledge is helpful but not required)
- Float to other departments in rotation as needed; uphold patient safety, infection control, and patient education

Requirements
- Licensure: Current RN license in Washington State or a multi-state license with Nursys verification
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
- Training: Approved 6-hour suicide training
- Experience: Experience requirements are as listed in the Job Notes
- Additional: Ability to work in a hospital setting and to float to other departments as needed; Meditech knowledge is helpful but not required
- RTO: RTO must be approved and added to the end of the contract
