Emergency Department Nurse

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for additional hours.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a critical setting.
• Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Document patient care and clinical findings accurately in Meditech.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with state licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Washington State or multi-state nursing license.
• Verify completion of approved 6-hour suicide prevention training.
• Provide verification of demographics via Nursys.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Be a team-oriented professional with strong communication skills.
