Title: IT Support Technician
Location: Sparrows Point, MD
Duration: 4+ month contract
Compensation: $25 - 28.00/hr. W2

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to provide technical support, troubleshoot IT issues, and maintain reliable IT operations. The ideal candidate has hands‑on technical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laptop imaging, configuration, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot printers, hardware, software, and basic network issues.
• Provide technical support for Windows 11 and Linux environments.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and escalated complex problems when necessary.
• Follow IT procedures, maintain quality standards, and identify process improvements.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and collaborate with team members.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands‑on IT experience, specifically troubleshooting
  • Experience with laptop imaging, printer support, and basic networking.
• Proficiency in Windows 11 and Linux environments.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow SOPs independently and prioritize technical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ certification.
• Strong adaptability, accountability, and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to share knowledge and suggest practical process improvements.
