This includes the assessment and analysis of the patient’s skills and challenging behaviors, development of treatment plans, overseeing implementation, collaboration with caregivers, and ongoing training of behavioral technicians. Clinical supervisors report to the Group Clinical Manager and are a salaried, exempt, full‑time position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Uses clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient Develop and maintain treatment plans Ensure that all supervision hours are at 100% treatment adherence each month Evaluate patients to identify skill deficits and strengths Analyze challenging behaviors to identify the function of the behavior Develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors Observe treatment implementation for potential program revisions Monitor treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols Direct behavioral technicians in the implementation of new or revised treatment protocols Provide ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians Primarily work physically within the center to support technicians and follow best practices of direct observation Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress toward treatment goals and adjust protocols based on data Update treatment plans at least once per month, based on patient response to treatment Fulfill a minimum of 120 payor/client authorized billable hours per month, inclusive of supervisory and therapy hours Accurately communicate treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers) Coordinate care with other professionals Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments Include caregivers as part of the treatment team, evidenced by consistent caregiver collaboration meetings Interact with payers in a collaborative, professional, thorough, and informative manner Engage with payers as needed for funding meetings (e.g., IEP, peer reviews) Stay up to date on best practices for ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence Maintain appropriate documentation in skills and patient medical records Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements at all times Partner consistently and effectively with other center leadership (Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisors, Administrative Coordinator Technician, Behavior Technician Leads) Perform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field required Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board required Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Empathetic and compassionate with strict confidentiality Collaborative with team members while maintaining a positive and solution‑focused attitude Independent problem solver exercising clinical judgment Effective communicator in verbal and written formats Excellent time‑management skills in a fast‑paced, changing environment Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook; ability to use new computer systems and iPads Desire to continuously learn and develop skillsets Willingness to work in a variety of locations (center, patient home, etc.) Willingness to work with a variety of patients Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance Must pass tuberculosis test Proficiency in English, both written and verbal WORK ENVIRONMENT Treatment may occur in a variety of settings including the patient’s home, the CARD center, the patient’s school, the community, or via telehealth. Clinical supervisors work in environments that are both indoors and outdoors and may move between different locations throughout the workday. Treatment environments may be subject to loud or excessive noise at times. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work with patients seated on the floor, in small chairs, or other home, school, community, and clinic environments Move frequently throughout the therapeutic setting to gather materials, anticipate and respond to patient movements, and/or provide instruction in varied settings such as school, playground, clinic, or community locations Constantly position oneself to participate and respond to movements and behaviors of patients, including bending, kneeling/crouching, hurrying, and reaching to prevent patients from entering dangerous areas Use continuous visual tracking to monitor patient movements and surrounding environment Occasionally move to evade aggressive behaviors and/or physically block attempts to aggress towards others; responding to behaviors may require bearing the weight of a patient who is leaning or pushing Teach vocal speech; articulate sound, model speaking clearly, listen to and shape patient communication Use modeling to teach gross and fine motor skills (e.g., climbing, jumping, clapping, opening containers) Work in indoor and outdoor settings related to the patient’s natural environment, including various weather conditions Lift up to 30 lbs. while assisting patients
