Accounting Manager

About The Role The role owns critical components of the monthly close process, financial reporting, and internal controls framework. Working within a fast-paced corporate finance environment, this position ensures all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP, SOX, and SEC standards. This position partners closely with system engineers, FP&A, and external auditors to scale accounting operations, streamline ledger systems, and support complex transactions during periods of rapid growth. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated financial statements Design, implement, and maintain rigorous internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to ensure compliance with SOX 404 requirements Prepare comprehensive financial statement disclosures and supporting schedules in compliance with SEC reporting guidelines Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses for key operational areas including revenue recognition, leases, and equity Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to automate accounting workflows within the ERP (NetSuite) and proprietary billing systems Coordinate directly with external audit teams to facilitate quarterly reviews, annual audits, and technical accounting inquiries What We Are Looking For 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and corporate tech experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; active CPA license is required Deep technical expertise in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting standards Advanced proficiency with NetSuite, BlackLine, and Excel (SQL knowledge is highly valued) Strong communication skills with a track record of explaining complex accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders Bonus: Experience managing system implementations or working with automated multi-currency billing engines #J-18808-Ljbffr
