Description


We are seeking a skilled, self-motiviated, and dependable Maintenance Technician to support our third shift operations within our manufacturing facility.

This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Powered industrial vehicle operations which may include forklifts, scissor lifts, and floor scrubbers.
• On occasion may need to backfill to other positions/departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor .

Summary of Pay:

Compensation for this position is commensurate with education, experience, and relevant qualifications. This position qualifies for a $2.00 shift differential.

Position Requirements

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Industrial, construction, and/or mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
