Local/Regional Sales Executive – New York/New Jersey

Location: New York/New Jersey

Compensation: $75,000–$90,000 base + uncapped commission

Hybrid: 3 days/week in office (Midtown); Thursday required

A leading Out-of-Home (OOH) and digital media company is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Regional Sales Executive to develop new business across the New York/New Jersey market, with a particular focus on advertisers surrounding a premier entertainment and retail destination in New Jersey.

This is a true hunter role for a relationship-driven salesperson who enjoys prospecting, networking, getting into the market, and building business from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Develop approximately $1.5M–$3M in annual revenue , primarily through new business development
• Prospect local and regional advertisers and agencies throughout NY/NJ
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through face-to-face meetings, presentations, networking and regular account development
• Identify new opportunities through active field prospecting and knowledge of the local advertising landscape
• Sell a broad portfolio of premium digital and static OOH media assets across multiple major markets
• Develop proposals, presentations and customized media solutions
• Expand existing relationships and identify opportunities for larger, multi-market campaigns

Ideal Candidate

• 3–7+ years of local and regional media sales experience , preferably OOH/DOOH
• Strong knowledge of the New York/New Jersey advertising market
• Proven track record of generating new business and building a book of business
• Existing relationships with local/regional advertisers and/or agencies strongly preferred
• Highly proactive, outgoing and comfortable with cold calling and in-person prospecting
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and manage a territory

This is not a fit for a general B2B salesperson without media experience. The ideal candidate understands media, knows the local NJ market and genuinely enjoys the pursuit of new business.
