Financial Analyst

Financial AnalystThe Financial Analyst will be part of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group and will be responsible for evaluating large amounts of data and providing insights into business performance and trends. The position will also routinely create ad-hoc financial analyses and prepare materials for Senior Management and across field and corporate support teams.Responsibilities:Prepares financial reports by collecting, formatting, and analyzing data to help understand and forecast sales, gross margin, and expense trends.Builds financial databases by identifying sources of information and assembling, verifying, and backing up data.Monitors key performance indicators, performs root cause analysis, and evaluates business and process improvement opportunities.Provides ad-hoc financial analysis to assist decision making for executive management.Prepares reports used in monthly financial close processes and Board of Director meetings.Works in a team-based setting to provide financial and operational value-add reports for utilization by field and support management.Comfortable working with large datasets and translating complex data into actionable insights.Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer science or Data Analytics.Advanced knowledge of Excel, data query and reporting tools.Experience with Power BI and IBM Planning Analytics preferred.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and accounting skills.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast paced, deadline-driven work environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Bilingual, Military, Military Spouses and Veteran applicants are strongly encouraged to apply!
