Our mission is to advance the health and wellbeing of our communities as a leader in clinical laboratory solutions.LOCATION: 250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801HOURS: 8:00am - 4:30pm; Monday to Friday with Alternating SaturdaysFULL TIME: Benefits EligibleIn this role, you will:Perform a vital part of the patient care process through moderate and high complexity testingAnalyze, review, and report testing resultsRecognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutionsWork in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazardsChampion safety, compliance, and quality controlAll you need is:Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology; or Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with 1 year of Medical Technology trainingNew York State Clinical Lab Technologist License from the Department of EducationStrong reading, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.Bonus points if you’ve got:2+ years of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing within area of specialtyPrevious experience reading and interpreting Protein Electrophoresis and/or Immunotyping/Immunofixation results.Salary Range: MT $38.00 to $50.00 per hour (depending on experience) and MLT $30.00 to 45.00 per hours (depending on experience). Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.Sonic Healthcare USA, reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
