1st Shift Warehouse Receiver

Position Summary:

The HR Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruitment of prospective associates for entry-level through senior-level positions across all areas of the organization. This is accomplished through the development and execution of strategic recruiting plans, utilizing both traditional sourcing methods and innovative, creative recruitment strategies. The role includes participation in job fairs, career events, and other recruiting activities as needed, which may occasionally require work outside of normal business hours. The HR Recruiter also supports the Human Resources department by assisting with applicant review, conducting interviews, and facilitating new associate onboarding.

Reports To: Director of Human Resources

Primary Responsibilities:

• Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organizations plans and objectives, meeting with managers to discuss needs.
• Attracts applicants by posting on company website, job boards, and advertisements.
• Taking the lead on social media
• Facilitating the company culture success
• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing, analyzing responses and verifying references
• Coordinating new hire paperwork, background screening and drug testing.
• Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules
• Complete new hire onboarding, first day of hire training, and other necessary paperwork
• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and procedures, monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
• Manage intern program by conducing orientations, scheduling assignments, monitoring and coaching intern and advising managers on training and coaching.
• Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures, conducting training.
• Assess training needs for new and existing associates
• Identify internal and external training programs to address gaps
• Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job coaching
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of HR experience
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases
• Drug-free, negative pre-employment drug test
• Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices relating to interviewing and training
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) (SHRM-SCP) credential. Preferred
