Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Location: Corte Madera, CA
Work Schedule: 100% on-site for the first 6 months (approx); then hybrid 3 days on-site and 2 days remote
Salary: $80k-$125k base + 2-6% Bonus + Equity + Benefits + 401k

Must have:

• 2-5 yrs accounting experience
• Month-end close, reconciliations, and GL experience
• Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar

Nice-to-Have:

• Audit/public accounting experience
• Retail revenue accounting experience
• SQL, Access
• Transaction processing experience (Adyen, Discover, American Express)
• Audit experience

Job Details

Our client is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to join their finance team. You will support month-end close, reconciliations, revenue accounting, reporting, audit requests, and process improvements. This is a hands-on role with exposure to complex accounting operations, cross-functional projects, and strong career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support month-end close, journal entries, and GL reconciliations.
• Perform AR and credit card transaction reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data and create ad hoc reports.
• Support revenue accounting and audit requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
• Utilize Excel, Access, Oracle Analytics, and reporting tools.
• Identify process improvements and enhance workflows.
• Assist with reporting enhancements and system initiatives.
• Support other accounting projects as needed.
