Project Manager

Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial & industrial projects from planning through completion. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels at coordinating field operations, managing budgets, and ensuring projects are executed safely, profitably, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities Manage multiple structural steel projects simultaneously, from contract award through closeout Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand scope, schedule, and budget requirements Coordinate with field superintendents and project engineers to ensure materials, equipment, and manpower align with project timelines Prepare and manage purchase orders, subcontracts, and billing documentation Conduct regular project reviews, tracking progress, productivity, and cost performance Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fabricators, and field teams to ensure consistent communication and problem resolution Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered) 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial or industrial construction; steel erection experience preferred Proficient in project management and document control software; experience with Bluebeam and MS Office required Strong understanding of construction drawings, budgeting, and scheduling processes Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects across different locations Why Join Our Client Our client is a well-established steel erection contractor known for safety, quality, and consistent delivery on complex, large-scale projects nationwide.
