Clinical Education Specialist Radiology

The Clinical Education Specialist Radiology is responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of education and competency programs for radiologic technologists and imaging staff. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, promotes evidence-based imaging practices, and supports workforce development across diagnostic and interventional imaging services.

Education:

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. Bachelor's preferred
• Master's degree in Education or Healthcare preferred

Education specialization:

• Essential: Radiologic Technology

Experience:

• Essential: 35 years of clinical radiology/imaging experience
• Experience in multiple modalities preferred
• Prior teaching, precepting, or educator experience preferred
• Experience with LMS platforms (e.g. HealthStream) and simulation training

Credentials:

• Essential: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• BLS/PALS/ACLS certification required
• Advanced certifications preferred (CT MRI Mammography Interventional Radiology)
