We are looking for a Part-Time Billing Clerk to join our team in Hickory, North Carolina for a Contract position. This role supports accurate invoicing, billing reconciliation, and inventory-related recordkeeping while helping maintain organized financial data. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with QuickBooks Enterprise, reviewing charges against budget expectations, and coordinating billing activity with a high level of accuracy. Part-Time Only .

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner using established billing processes.

• Review charges and compare billed amounts against budget guidelines to help maintain financial accuracy.

• Maintain billing records, statements, and supporting documentation in an organized and accessible manner.

• Reconcile billing discrepancies by researching account details and coordinating corrections when needed.

• Support inventory-related accounting activities by updating records and verifying data tied to billed items.

• Process collections follow-up and assist with resolving outstanding balances through clear communication.

• Enter and update billing information within QuickBooks Enterprise and other computerized billing systems as required.

• Experience handling invoicing, account billing, and statement preparation in a business setting.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise and comfort using computerized billing platforms.
• Background in inventory accounting or inventory-related financial recordkeeping.
• Ability to compare billing activity to budget targets and identify variances.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating on billing questions and payment follow-up.
