Temporary Custodian - Rome, NY
$16.25/hr. Position Details:
- Schedule: During the first two weeks of training, the schedule will be Monday-Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm. After training, the regular schedule will be Monday-Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm. Both shifts include a 30-minute lunch break. We are looking to have someone start as soon as possible; the end date is to be determined.
- Responsibilities: Custodians are responsible for general building cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and trash removal. They may also assist with basic groundskeeping tasks such as raking leaves and shoveling snow, as well as occasional minor maintenance tasks (for example, changing light bulbs).
- Qualifications: Candidates should have basic janitorial or maintenance experience, be detail-oriented, and be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
