Senior Manager Of Corporate Giving (6108)

Position: Corporate, Fundraising & Donor Relations – The Salvation Army, North Texas Area Command, Dallas, TX. Full time, day shift. Key Responsibilities Assures the organization’s impact, mission, programs and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to potential and currently engaged corporations throughout the North Texas Area Command. Maintains a portfolio of corporate donors and a prospect pipeline to raise funds to support The Salvation Army of North Texas. Analyzes the gift potential of corporations within the Command, particularly those whose employees volunteer, and devises an appropriate strategy to solicit gifts. Creates, implements and evaluates a process for converting non‑donor corporations whose employees volunteer into donors. Creates and implements an annual plan for corporate stewardship, recognition, retention, renewal and up‑grading. Develops and implements strategies to identify, cultivate and solicit potential and current corporate donors, aiming to move them toward closure of proposed gifts. Analyzes and reports the progress and financial outcomes of activities weekly. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Ability to speak before large groups in person, by radio and television. Ability to travel within the Command to participate in meetings. Willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the organization’s Christian principles and professionalism. Duties are usually performed seated, with brief or occasional standing or walking. Limited physical effort required, associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs) frequently. Paid Time Off. What We Are Looking For In You Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: Three years of experience in corporate relations and/or corporate giving or an equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
