You'll lead meaningful projects from proposal development through successful delivery while benefiting from industry-leading technology, continuous learning opportunities, dedicated mentorship, and a path for long-term career growth.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & DeliveryCollaborate with clients and internal project teams to develop scopes of work, project budgets, fee estimates, schedules, and quality plans.Lead and manage geospatial and land surveying projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget.Serve as the primary technical resource for project teams and provide guidance in resolving complex surveying and geospatial challenges.Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.Prepare, review, and manage project invoicing and assist with collection efforts as needed.Technical OversightProvide oversight and quality assurance for a broad range of surveying and geospatial activities, including:Field crew planning and deploymentSurvey control network design, adjustment, and analysisTopographic data processing and feature extractionDigital Terrain Model (DTM) generation, editing, and quality reviewBoundary, title, and records researchCOGO computations and analysisLegal descriptions and property documentationQuality control and technical reviews of survey deliverablesClient Relations & Business DevelopmentBuild and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service and technical excellence.Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, scope development, and fee estimation.Identify opportunities for growth within existing and new client accounts.Represent Jacobs at client meetings, industry events, and professional organizations.Client Relations & Business DevelopmentMentor and develop survey and geospatial professionals, fostering technical excellence and career growth.Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Support project safety planning and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.Communicate clear expectations, vision, and direction to project teams. Here's what you'll need Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure, or the ability to obtain licensure within one year of hire.Minimum of 8 years of experience in land surveying and geospatial services.Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including direct client interaction and responsibility for project delivery.Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, scope, quality, and client expectations.Experience supporting business development, strategic growth initiatives, and client account management.Strong leadership, organizational, communication, networking, and presentation skills.Ability to successfully complete applicable background screenings.Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
