OFFICE ASSISTANT (Special Education)

Clerical Position

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor or designee, perform a variety of complex and diverse clerical duties involving independent judgment and action within an assigned office and requiring in-depth knowledge of the function served; assist in assuring smooth and efficient office operations.

• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two (2) Letters of Recommendation. Letters must be signed within the last 12 months.)
• Typing Certificate (Must attach a certificate verifying typing speed of 35 (net) words per minute on a 5 minute timed test at the time the application is submitted. Typing certificates will only be accepted from business organizations/institutions that verify completion of a 5-minute timed writing, state gross words per minute, number of errors, and indicate a minimum of 35 (net) words per minute. Internet and high school typing tests will not be accepted.)
