Together We Can Do Great Things® Every Person Matters® This Is More ThanAJob® Position Overview The Accounting Clerk supports the daily financial operations of the hotel by performing routine accounting and administrative tasks. This roleassistswithmaintainingaccuratefinancial records, processing transactions, and supporting the Accounting and Finance team to ensure compliance, accuracy, andtimelyreporting within a full-service hotel environment. WhatYou’llDo Accounting & Financial Support Assistwith daily accounting functions including data entry, reconciliations, and record maintenance. Process invoices, expense reports, and other accounting documents accurately andtimely. Assist with posting journal entries andmaintaininggeneral ledger records as directed. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. Cash Handling & Revenue Support Assistwith daily cash handling procedures, deposits, and reconciliations. Support revenue posting and verification processes. Assistwith balancing reports andidentifyingdiscrepancies. Maintainaccuratedocumentation related to cash and revenue activity. Records Management & Documentation Maintainorganized andaccurateaccounting files and records. Ensure proper documentation and retention of financial recordsin accordance withpolicy. Assist with audits, reviews, and compliance documentation. Maintain confidentiality of financial and sensitive information. Reporting & Administrative Support Assistwithpreparationof financial reports and summaries. Support month-end and year-end closing activities as assigned. Provide administrative support to theAccountingteam. Collaboration & Communication Communicate effectively with internal departmentsregardingfinancial inquiries. Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders as needed. Support cross-departmental accounting and finance processes. WhatYou’llBring Required Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Education & Experience Previousaccounting, bookkeeping, or clerical experience preferred. Experience in hospitality or service-oriented environments preferred. Associate’s orBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Experience with accounting software or hotel financial systems preferred. Required Skills and Abilities Basic understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
