As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment to inspect packages and help identify potential security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with team members, and support efficient operations while delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, drivers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Screen personnel, visitors, and authorized items entering and leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures. Monitor access points and verify credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization for entry or movement within designated areas. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, promptly reporting observations and concerns to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading areas, parking facilities, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Have at least one year of security‑related experience. X‑Ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
