As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Gatehouse in Lebanon, IN , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule Saturday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM How This Role Works Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. Responsibilities Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site‑specific access control procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor check‑in processes, and report unusual activity related to the location in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations with professionalism, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns. Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by controlling access to restricted areas, maintaining accurate visitor and/or contractor records, and assisting with security‑related requests from authorized personnel. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
