Senior Systems Inspector - Fire Alarm

Position Location: This role supports our Winter Park, FL branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Orlando, FL area. Fire Inspectors play a vital role in preventing, detecting, and mitigating the impact of fires. You will perform tasks such as minor repairs and visual and functional testing on fire alarm systems in accordance with all national and local standards. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also act as a mentor, providing on-the-job training to entry level fire alarm inspectors, fostering a culture of growth and knowledge-sharing within our team. Our fire inspectors significantly contribute to public safety, property protection, and overall emergency preparedness. As a Fire Inspector, you will: Follow andmaintainhigh structured inspection schedules providing inspection, testing, and performing minor service and deficiency repairs for fire alarm equipment tocomply withNFPA72 standards as well as state and local codes. Note deficiencies, remedies, and review pricing with customers. Complete service ticket documentation before leaving thecustomersite. Follow-up on corrective actions Maintain complete andaccuratedocumentation of all tests performed. Generate reports within Siemens tools and upload to city municipality websites Provideinstructions to customer personnelregardingproper operation and routine inspections.Assistwith training Work overtime when needed, andmaintainstock, tools, and equipment in vehicles Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures Complete required training and certifications within the time requirements for this role Basic Qualifications 3+years’ experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Alarm and/or Fire Life Safety Systems Ability and willingness to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical and electrical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop (Microsoft proficient) , email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted Must be 18 years of age andpossessa valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements toparticipatein Siemens' fleet vehicle program Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred 5+ years’ experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Alarm and/or Fire Life Safety Systems Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level II within 12 months Ability to read/understand design and construction documents Ready to create your own journey?
