Radiologic Technologist (Urgent Care)

Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join a growing urgent care team in San Diego. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced patient care environment and is comfortable operating independently as the primary Radiology Tech at the site.

In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure high-quality patient care, and work closely with providers and clinical staff to support timely diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered by providers
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images
• Review images for quality and diagnostic accuracy
• Explain imaging procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and regulatory standards
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and monitor functionality
• Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to support patient care

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
• California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT-R) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Minimum 6 months of Radiologic Technologist experience in an outpatient, clinic, urgent care, or ambulatory setting

Ideal Background

• Experience working in urgent care, outpatient imaging, or ambulatory clinics
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic positioning
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $59.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
