Quality Inspector I

Quality Inspector I position at a medical device manufacturer involving visual inspection of labels, packaging, and products to approve or reject operations. The role includes sample collection, specification verification, and quality documentation in an FDA-regulated environment on second shift (1:30pm–10pm, Monday–Friday).

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect labels, product identifiers, and pouches to approve or reject operations
• Collect and evaluate samples against established specifications; document findings and make accept/reject decisions
• Operate measuring gauges and testing equipment including optical comparators, micrometers, and go-no-go gauges
• Maintain accurate quality control records, documentation, and organize control files properly
• Conduct spot audits in manufacturing areas and assist in training new quality assurance inspectors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year experience in quality inspection within FDA-regulated manufacturing preferred
• Ability to read technical drawings and written procedures in English
• Knowledge of basic mathematics, graph interpretation, and statistical process control
• Proficiency with inspection instruments and measuring equipment
• Capability to stand for extended periods
• Heavy vehicle driver's license highly preferred

Compensation: $10.50–$13.46 USD hourly
