Operations Specialist Quality - 2 openings one on 1st shift one on 2nd shift

Schedule:

• On-site manufacturing environment.
• 1st Shift: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspection Specialist to perform precision inspections of manufactured parts and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and tolerances. This is a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment, working closely with production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, height gages, plug gages, bore gages, and other precision measurement tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Verify manufactured parts meet dimensional and tolerance specifications.
• Review inspection results and accurately document findings.
• Interpret CMM reports when applicable.
• Work with manufacturing and quality teams to address nonconformances and improve inspection processes.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with precision measurement and inspection equipment.
• Solid understanding of GD&T .
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience interpreting CMM reports is a plus.

This is a Contract position based out of Rockford, IL.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $37.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract position based out of Rockford, IL.
