A culture where great ideas thrive because every voice is heard.Primary Location: United States (US)- North Carolina - Fuquay-Varina As aSupplemental Material Handlerwith John Deere Turf Care in Fuquay-Varina, NC, you will:Replenish all areas of factory including weld and assemblyin a timely mannerfor operation needs in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following: Store and/or deliver material, parts, and equipment throughout the factory warehouse, trailers, and storage yard.Keep all necessary andrequiredrecords for work performed.Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment.Perform maintenance on material handling equipment.Read andcomprehendwork instructions and follow established procedures.Assist and support other team members.Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job. Minimum Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age.Must haveat least oneof the following:High School Diploma or G.E.D.National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)At least3 yearsof manufacturing work experienceForklift operation experience.Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.Ability and willingness to work1st and 3rd shift and potential overtime. Preferred Qualifications: (What makes you stand out)Current experience as a contingent worker of at least 60 daysin a similar role at John Deere Turf Care - demonstrating strong performance, quality, and attendance.At least 3 years of experience in Material Handling (including forklift operation experience).
