Shifts: 8a-5p, Closed on Major Holidays
Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Sonographer specializing in pediatric echocardiography for a travel assignment in Fairfax, VA. This role involves working within a dynamic healthcare environment, covering NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU. The ideal candidate will have expertise in congenital and non-congenital heart diseases, as well as ECMO procedures.

Key Responsibilities of the Sonographer:
- Perform echocardiographic studies for diagnoses including fetal congenital, pediatric, and adult congenital heart disease
- Assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement
- Recognize and triage emergent situations
- Provide written communication to cardiologists
- Maintain equipment and log procedures
Requirements of the Sonographer:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric sonography
- Knowledge and experience with ECMO procedures
- Extensive understanding of congenital and non-congenital heart disease
- BLS, ARDMS required
- Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred
- Fetal Echo encouraged; Adult echo a plus
