Description:
The RN supervisor serves as a resource for problem-solving and providing clinical expertise.
Facilitates staff mentoring and coaching during off shifts.
Responsible for patient flow during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays for the entire facility.
The facility consists of 180 beds across multiple units.
Cares for residents with various diagnoses including dementia, diabetes, stroke, cardiac issues, and orthopedic treatments.
The role involves managing neurobehavioral units with residents diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer's and exhibiting violent behaviors.
Responsible for a rehab unit for residents post-orthopedic surgery and cardiac procedures.
Ensures safety and care for residents at risk for elopement.
Involves managing and supervising nursing care delivered on all units.
Requires knowledge of special equipment including wound vacs, PICC lines, nephrostomy tubes, tube feeds, and indwelling catheters.
Must adhere to regulations and standards related to patient care and safety.
Involves experience with centralized staffing, incident reporting, and risk management.
The role requires strong customer service skills and emergency preparedness.
