Job Description
As a Security Officer Badge Desk in Breinigsville PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer where you will monitor entry points verify badges and credentials and support professional visitor this customer-facing role you will help promote a secure environment through strong communication and attention to detail while reflecting our values of agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures access control protocols and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor authorization and help to control access to docks gates offices and other restricted areas within the logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document security-related events visitor activity and/or irregular conditions according to post procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter observing for unusual activity unsecured access points and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
- Support site operations by communicating with drivers visitors employees and site contacts regarding access procedures delivery check-in processes and/or directions while maintaining professional conduct.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
