Below are some key responsibilities of the role.Key ResponsibilitiesRetrieve CAD model(s), drawings, and specifications from databasesImport CAD model information into In Spec for use in developing inspection routinesProgram the Zeiss CMM for touch probe/vision inspection routines, using Calypso software on both online and offline systemsInspect parts for First Articles and production parts and export inspection results to QC Calc reporting softwareProgram the Micro Vu VMM for inspection routinesInspect parts for First Articles and production parts using the VMM, CMM and various hand toolsTroubleshoot and update existing programs for revision changes and inspection improvementsTrain other Inspectors on VMM and CMM using established programsTrain other Inspectors to program using In Spec software for the VMMDevelop fixtures to be used for general inspection or completion of FARsDevelop special VMM or CMM programs to assist with measurements requested by the production departmentCommunicate with Engineering teams regarding drawing updates and inspection methods and resultsOther duties as assigned, including process/procedure documentation updates, inspection equipment maintenance, etc.Create Non-Conforming Material Reports for discrepant materialWhat You Bring to the TableTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and regular attendance is required.
