CNC Operator - Machine Setup & Fabrication (57077)

Job Description

IMKO Workforce Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist for Adams Thermal Systems in Canton, SD. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who is comfortable operating machinery, completing setups and producing parts to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and complete changeovers
• Operate machinery and perform fabrication/assembly work
• Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues
• Complete first-piece inspections and quality documentation
• Read blueprints and verify dimensions and tolerances
• Use calipers, height gauges, and other measuring equipment
• Perform minor maintenance and daily preventative maintenance
• Maintain tooling, machinery, and a clean work area
• Follow all safety procedures and requirements
• Cross-train on additional machines and processes as needed JobTarget

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Machine operation experience or willingness to learn
• Good math and blueprint-reading skills
• Experience with G-code is preferred
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Must be organized and willing to work overtime/Saturdays as needed
