IMKO Workforce Solutions is seeking a Laser Operator for a growing metal manufacturing operation. This position focuses on laser cutting, preparing metal parts, and supporting welding and fabrication processes. Responsibilities include operating laser cutting and other fabrication equipment, cutting, grinding, and drilling metal components, staging and preparing materials for welding, inspecting and preparing parts for the next stage of production, performing basic equipment cleaning and maintenance, operating forklifts to move materials and load/unload trucks, and following all established safety and production procedures. Qualifications include manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred, strong attention to detail and accuracy, willingness to learn new equipment and processes, ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ability to read, write, and communicate in English to safely follow work instructions and procedures, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical manufacturing work.
