Must-Have: Skills in invasive procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis
Description:
We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our team.
The facility has a total of 373 licensed beds, with a significant number dedicated to various patient care needs.
The Ultrasound department performs approximately 48 studies per day, with varying volumes on weekends.
Ultrasound services include general, vascular, Client, small parts, and ultrasound-guided invasive procedures.
The team rotates to an onsite rehabilitation facility to provide ultrasound imaging.
Patient populations served include inpatient, observation, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
Skills in invasive procedures and a wide range of ultrasound studies are essential for this role.
Our department is supported by guest services and radiology nursing.
A radiologist is onsite seven days per week to provide assistance and ensure high-quality imaging services.
The technology in use includes EMR, RIS, and PACS systems.
Department-specific equipment includes advanced ultrasound machines.
