We’re seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead sales strategy, develop a high-performing team, and drive revenue growth for a growing manufacturer, importer, nursery, and distributor of indoor and outdoor home & garden products.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and execute sales plans focused on revenue and profitability
• Establish and manage sales goals, budgets, and performance targets
• Set individual sales targets and track team performance
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the sales team
• Provide ongoing training in sales techniques, products, and customer relationships
• Develop strategies to expand existing accounts and generate new business
• Work closely with Marketing on lead generation and sales initiatives
• Monitor sales results and provide regular performance reporting
• Promote the company’s products and strengthen market presence
• Develop a strong understanding of target customers and their needs
• Participate directly in sales, customer development, and key account opportunities
• Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and overall team performance
What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of sales experience
• 5+ years of sales leadership experience managing a team
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proven experience developing and implementing sales strategies
• Strong track record leading, coaching, and developing sales professionals
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Strong business development and relationship-building abilities
• Goal-oriented, proactive, and results-driven leadership style
• Home & garden industry experience strongly preferred
