Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Job description: Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Corrections (General / Dialysis / Mental Health) – 2nd Shift Pay rate: $45-$50 an hr Location: Grafton, OH 44044 (On-site) Job Type: Contract to hire Schedule: Must be available any shift/hours- as they can change to earlier or later as needed. Must be available all days of the week, will be working 40 hours per week - Primarily looking for 2nd but need to be available any hours, as they could be asked to do 3rd or 1st shift Job Summary A-Line Staffing is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for an on-site corrections healthcare setting in Grafton, OH. This is a full-time contract role supporting patient care for an incarcerated population. Ideal candidates are clinically strong, calm under pressure, and able to work within a structured, secure environment. Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care to patients housed in a state-operated facility/institution Observe, assess, and document symptoms, reactions, and patient progress Perform nursing rounds; take and record vital signs Administer prescribed medications and ordered treatments (may include immunizations) Provide immediate care during emergencies and coordinate escalation when needed Complete required documentation and reports (medication logs, incident reports, inventory of controlled meds, etc.) Support care planning, staff education, and orientation of new staff as assigned May perform specialized procedures based on assignment (examples may include IV therapy, wound care, oxygen therapy, dialysis support, phlebotomy, etc.) Required Qualifications Active Ohio RN license BLS/CPR certification Recent RN experience (corrections experience is a plus, not required) Ability to pass required screening/background requirements and comply with facility security rules Important Facility Rules (Security) No cell phones permitted Must clear a metal detector No tobacco/vapes/cans; no personal items allowed inside Food/drinks must be in clear containers; limited water allowed Benefits Benefits available to eligible full-time employees after 90 days 401(k) with company match available after 1 year (per eligibility) Apply Now If you’re an Ohio-licensed RN and can commit to a full-time contract schedule, apply today—interviews are being scheduled as qualified candidates are identified.
